Fairfax County Crime Solvers is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the persons responsible for vandalizing vehicles in the Sully Police District. Between Sunday, February 2 and Tuesday, February, 18, at least 100 parked vehicles have been struck by BB-type projectiles. It appears the suspects are driving through neighborhoods shooting the BBs at parked cars, breaking the windows and causing damage. Many of the vehicles were parked on or near the following streets:
Old Centreville Road, Skipton Court, Federation Drive, Singletons Way and Compton Lane.
Anyone with information about these vandalisms is asked to contact Crime Solvers by phone at 1-866-411-TIPS(8477), e-mail at http://www.fairfaxcrimesolvers.org or text “TIP187” plus your message to CRIMES(274637). A $100 to $1,000 cash reward will be paid for information that leads to an arrest. As always, callers never have to give their names or appear in court.

I live at 4840 Birmingham Drive. I have had it with this neighborhood and the derelicts that have recently moved in. I can’t even put my house of the market for fear that it can’t be sold because my neighbors weeds are standing two feet tall! If you are standing in front of my house, my neighbors on the right of me have been living there for nine years. They have NEVER put anything down to control their weeds and usually don’t give the grass its first cut until the end of May or early June. This is ridiculous! You are welcome to come in my backyard at any time to see exactly what I have been dealing with. My neighbors to the left just moved in over the winter. I was informed by her 27 year old son that lives with her, that they don’t even own a lawnmower. Are you kidding me! What is the HOA doing to make these derelicts take care of their property. I think that we should start a petition. If we don’t pay our HOA fees, then maybe you’ll do something besides mow the common areas with all the money you receive.
